He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Chance Gatewood. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Lapresi (Mike) of Tucker, GA, Kim Gatewood of Lawrenceville, GA and Hope Spetnagel of Yukon, OK; and his stepdaughter Beverly Friesz (Scott) of Woodstock, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, the Tiger Flight Foundation or have trees planted in his honor.
