She is survived by: her children, Ricky Nix (Diane), Jeff Nix (Joy) and Deedra Avans (Ron); her grandchildren, Stephanie Friddell (Frankie), Derek Nix (Kim) and Shala (Mahdi Bouzadia); her great grandchildren, Ethan, Delilah, Landon, Clay, Hadley and Ilyas; her siblings, Billy, Ronnie and Peanut Preston; and her close friend Pearl Brown.
