It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minister Paula Lynn Reese of Ringgold, Georgia, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack R. Williams and Thelma Carol Rodgers Williams; and her brother Kenneth Tyler Williams. She is survived by: her sons, Glenn Stewart Reese, Jr. (Tanya) of Rocky Face, GA and Kenneth Tyler Reese (Kathryn) of Dalton, GA; her grandchildren, Anastaijah Reese, Mae-Lynn Reese, Laighton Reese, Joseph Reese (Cristal), Julia Reese and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Reese; her great grandchild Rio Reese; her brothers, Ronald Maurice Williams of Dayton, OH and James Rodger "Diamond" Williams (LaDon) of Dayton, OH; her siblings-in-law, Brena Holmes (Kim) of Marietta, GA, Steve Upshaw (Helen) of Canton, GA, Michael Upshaw of Calhoun, GA, Ben Upshaw of Calhoun, GA, Tracy Upshaw (Erika) of Calhoun, GA and Steve Smith of Calhoun, GA; and her nieces, Schele Kleinberger (Scott), Anji Williams (Dorian) and Jones. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
In addition, Paula was a spokesperson and philanthropist for the Conasauga Kidney Foundation.
