He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Holcombe and Margaret Holcombe; his daughter Denise Holcombe; and his siblings, Walter Holcombe, Dorcas "Dot" Williams, Joyce Woodell and Kathy Holcombe.

He is survived by: his wife Reba Brown Holcombe; and his children, Andrea Minor (Jeff), Eric Holcombe (Chipper) and Benjamin Holcombe. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
