She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Thomas (Lynn) and Joe B. Thomas (GA); and her brother J. B. Thomas. She is survived by: her sister Ruth Ann Guenterberg (CA); her children, Jo-Lynn Hawthorne (Duane Gibson) of Greeneville, Jan Chesney of Orlando, Jerry Hawthorne (Sheila) and Julie Thomas of Ringgold, GA.; and her grandchildren, Duane Jr., Darren, Derek, Dana Gibson, Elizabeth, Grace-Anne Hawthorne, Dylan and Matthew Thomas.
