It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy R. Lowry Hefner of Ringgold, Georgia, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Hefner; her sons, Gene Hefner and Samuel Hefner; and her parents, Raymond Lowry and Edna Lowry.
She is survived by: her children, Shelia Hefner and Glen Hefner; her daughters-in-law, Paula Hefner and Marie Hefner; her son David Helton (Angela); and her grandchildren, Victoria Garner (Steven), Summer Dockery (Chris) and Anthony Alemany (Amy).
Mama's request was instead of flowers, donate to St Jude Children's Hospital.
