He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred "Connie" McConathy and Mary Moore Schearer; his siblings, Sally Walker, Rebel Shumate, Pat Ridings and Jackie Ridings; his son Chris Davenport; and his grandson Hunter Witt.
He is survived by: his wife Diane McConathy; his children, Tara Skeen (Jeff), Shannon McConathy, Jason Davenport (Taffy) and Ronald McConathy; his siblings, Shilo Lampe (John), Nioka Laxton, Dickie McConathy (Brenda) and Wayne McConathy; and his daughter-in-law Denise Davenport. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
