With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zachary Douglas Lumpkin of Resaca, Georgia, born in Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on February 25, 2021 at the age of 25. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmer Lumpkin, Alva Jane, Douglas Silver and David Keener; his great-grandparents, Tommy, Mary Lumpkin, Lee and Kizzie Ponders; and his uncle Elmer Lumpkin Jr..
He is survived by: his parents, Joe Lumpkin and Connie Lumpkin of Resaca, GA; his children, Elijah Lumpkin of Virginia and Kaydence Jones of East Ridge, TN; his sisters, Tairen (Kevin Landen), Candice (Ryan Dyer) and Dalyn Hall of Rocky Face, GA; his grandparents, Marlee Lumpkin of Dalton, GA, Gina Cearley of Resaca, GA, Mike and Gwen Phillips of White, GA; his great-grandparents, Charles and Barbara Phillips of Calhoun, GA; and his aunt Sandi Keener of Decatur, GA. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
