He was predeceased by: his parents, James Watson (Doyal) and Cwilla Haston Watson; and his siblings, Paul Watson, Jeffrey Watson and Charlotte Watson.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jackson Watson; his sons, Joel Watson (Megan) and Joshua Watson (Holland); his grandchildren, Jaden Watson, Tucker Johnson, Alexis Watson, Jordon Watson, Jackson Watson, Marlie Johnson, Bishop Johnson and Hudson Johnson; his pet Moe Diddly Watson; his brother Avery Watson (Tammy); and his sister-in-law Connie Watson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
