He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Paul DeFoor, Sr. and Robbie Lee Wheat DeFoor; his daughter Cathy Jones; his brothers, Danny DeFoor and David DeFoor; and his granddaughter Savannah DeFoor.
He is survived by: his wife Connie DeFoor of Resaca; his children, Jeff DeFoor of Dalton, Tracy DeFoor of Resaca, Jody DeFoor of Resaca, Gary DeFoor of Resaca, Cindy (Marcus Richardson) and Angela DeFoor of Rocky Face; his son-in-law Kevin Jones of Chatsworth; and his siblings, Larry (Debra DeFoor), Thomas (Ellie DeFoor), Jimmy (Debbie DeFoor), Jerry DeFoor of Calhoun and Betty Geneva Headrick of Chatsworth. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
