He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Davis and Ella Mae Davis; his brother Jerry Davis; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Underwood and Donald Sloan; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Claudette Davis; his children, Chris Davis, Tammy Sheppard (Tommy) and Lindsey Davis Depinto (Dianna); his sister Peggy Black (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Jayne Davis, Marshall Sloan, Ronnie Sloan and Jimmy Underwood. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
