It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of McKinley Tackett (Resaca, Georgia), born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 2, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Tackett and Jettie Fields Tackett; and his wife Esta Lorena Martin Tackett. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Schmidt (George), Diana McDonald (Chris), Kenneth Tackett (Gail), Phil Tackett, Perry Tackett (Debra), Sherri Remnant (Rick), Lida Chapple (Rich) and Lana Ferguson (Craig); and his brother Charles Tackett (Pat). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
