With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Annie Williams (Powder Springs, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Annie left this world on February 21, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Gordon and Jessie Gordon; her husband Archie Woodson; and her son James Williams Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Williams Redding (Donald) and Latesha Woodson; her grandchildren, Precious, Michael, Jazzmin, Jurnee and Jenasis; her great grandchildren, Taniyah, Jahsiah, Rafael, Mya and Jayden; and her siblings, Eugene, Moses Gordon, Willie Richard Parker and Angeline Clausell (Marvin). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (4192 Brownsville Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens (581 Veterans Memorial Hwy SE, Mableton, GA 30126).
Therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton for the amazing care and love shown to Annie and the family during her last days, or to one of the churches she attended; Mount Ephraim Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia and New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Georgia.
