He is survived by: his wife Paula Hires; his daughters, Angela Seyler and Rebecca "Becky" Hires; his stepchildren, Patti Clark (Danny) and Michael Ferreira (Gina); his grandchildren, Jennifer L. Wiggins, J. J. Lawrence (Lisa), Jennifer B. Morton (Tony) and Tiffani Johnson; his stepgrandson Daniel Clark; his sister Charlotte Collins (Larry); his siblings-in-law, Marion Hires and Ed Withrow; and his close friends, Tommy and Georgia Lowery. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
