She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Clemmie and Mary Gillikin; her parents, Gerald Mell, Sr. and Mary Klees; and her brother Malcolm Mell (Lucky).
She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Mell Schuman, Robert Mell (Bucky) and Gerald Mell, Jr. (Smiley); her son Corey Mullis; her stepsons, Casey and Alton Mullis; her nephew Patrick Schuman, Jr. (Christia); her niece Carla Hodge (Eric); her great-nieces, Kayla Hodge, Madison Hodge and Destany Hartle; and her great-nephew Patrick Schuman, Jr.. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
