She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Mincey and Margie Elizabeth Mincey; and her sisters, Helen Mincey, Jeanette Day and Mary Torres.

She is survived by: her son Michael Todd Barnes; and her siblings, Nell Kitchens, Jo Ersch and William Mincey (Miriam Mincey).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Scarboro Baptist Church in the care of Joyce Collins, 13541 Pine Burr Road, Metter, GA 30439.
