He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Southard and Dorothy Deckert Southard; and his sister Cheryl Powers. He is survived by: his wife Pamala Hoffman Southard; his son Carsten Michael Southard (Amie Stone); his grandson Ethan Southard; his son Eric Christopher Southard (April); his grandchildren, Reed, Alden and Sage Southard; and his stepdaughters, Michele Gibbs and Kimberly Engle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
