It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles T. Ruiz of Pooler, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on July 30, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hege and Theadora Konstandeles Hege; his son Charlie Ruiz, Jr.; and his brothers, George "Buddy" Hege, David Hege and William Anthony "Butch" Ruiz.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn E. Ruiz; his sons, Michael A. Ruiz (Patty), John Williams (Stephanie) and Joe Williams; his daughter-in-law Julie Ruiz; his siblings, Edward Hege, Gail Humbert and Debbie Ruiz; and his cousins, Barbara Strickland and Bubba Weston. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
