He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton S. Quarterman, Sr. and Loree Aikens Quartman; and his siblings, Elton Quarterman, Jr. and Betty Delanie Lunceford (Alex). He is survived by: his wife Alice Perry Quarterman; his daughters, Alison Bowers and Ashley Quarterman; his grandchildren, Stephen Alexander Bowers and Samantha Lee Bowers; his brothers, Dr. G. William "Bill" Quarterman (Cyd) and Rev. Robert L. "Bob" Quarterman (Liz); and his sister-in-law Joan Quarterman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
