With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annabelle Watts Katsekis Lytle (Perry, Georgia), born in Lincolnton, Georgia, who passed away on January 14, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Annabelle Watts Katsekis Lytle to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Charles and Margie Cartledge Watts; her husbands, James "Chick" Katsekis, Sr. and Hobert Lytle; her brothers, Jack Watts (Chris) of Perry, Charlie Watts (Bobbi) and Gene Boyd (Margie); and her brother-in-law Ray Mims.

She is survived by: her son Jimmy; her daughter-in-law Evelyn Katsekis of Perry; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hames (Jeff) of Warner Robins, Christopher Katsekis (Jordan) of Warner Robins and Alex Katsekis (Kady) of Macon; her great grandchildren, Chase Hames, Sawyer Hames, Lynley Hames, Carter Katsekis, Niko Katsekis and Gianna Katsekis; and her sister Margilu Mims of Perry. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

“Annabelle was a truly wonderful friend. We shared many fun times teaching in the same classroom at Bonaire Elementary. I will never forget her kindness and support as a welcoming teacher during my first year in Houston County. We grew to be very close friends. I consider her friendship a blessing.
