He was predeceased by: his parents, C. P. Cooper and Thelma Gee Cooper; his daughters, Stephanie Renee Neese and Tammy Lynn Carmona; and his siblings, Johnny Ray Cooper and Mary Louise Grimes.
He is survived by: his son Larry Marshall Carter (Van Tran) of Norcross; and his siblings, Curtis Cooper (Chris) of Sylva, N. C., Doris Lassetter (Grady) of Pine Mountain, Hazel Shadburn of Pendergrass, Jerry Cooper (Jackie) of Pendergrass and Juanita Nash of Candler. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two sister in laws.
