He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCord; his children, James McCord II (Robin) of Sharpsburg, Georgia, Mark McCord (Angela) of Plano, TX, Greg McCord (James Pahn), Susan McCord Dietz (Thomas) of Charlotte, NC, Laurie McCord Ashley (Bart) of Nashville, TN and Paul McCord of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; his grandchildren, Candice, Eric, Nicholas, Sara, Anna, Catherine, Lane, Andrew, Molly and James III; and his great grandchildren, Katie, Nathan, Evan, Mason, Taylor, Nora and Sloane. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
The family requests donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society in lieu of flowers.
