She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hattaway and Corine Hattaway. She is survived by: her children, Anna Hargis of Newnan, Parra Vaughan of St. Simons Island, GA, Lila Rhyne of Palmetto and Howard Hargis III (Howie) of Palmetto; her sister Ellen Hattaway Crawford (Perry) of Palmetto; her grandchildren, Chase Hargis (Sara), Chloe Hargis, Nicholas Hargis, Jared Rhyne, Addison Hargis and James Rhyne; and also Deborah Jenkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 6090 Cochran Mill Road, Palmetto, Georgia 30268.
