He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther M. Dixon and Minnie Howell Dixon; his wife Lorene Fields Dixon; and his son Danny Dixon. He is survived by: his daughter Vickie D. Smith of Omega; his grandchildren, Jessica Nichole Carter, Wendy (Preston Taylor), Joshua (Lora Carter) and Justin (Kayla Carter); his great grandchildren, Emily Swain, Alexis Morman, Macey Morman, Kelee Smith and Tyler Morris; his great great grandchild Caroline Swain; and his sister Gladys Gunn. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
