He was predeceased by: his father Preston Charlie Hurst; and his granddaughter Heather Cheyenne Champion. He is survived by: his wife Lenora Hurst of Ochlocknee, GA; his son James Preston Hurst (Angela) of Thomasville; his stepchildren, Billy Dale Grisham of Lake Seminole, GA and Jennifer Grisham Howell of Ochlocknee, GA; and his siblings, Judy Hurst Brown of Thomasville and Albert Charlie Hurst (Pamela) of Thomasville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
