It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Kinnett of Norman Park, Georgia, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Kinnett, Sr. and Irene Grimes Kinnett; and her siblings, Herbert Kinnett, Jr., Geral Kinnett, Thomas Kinnett, Ada Young, Annie Ruth Barrentine, Christine Hester, Millie Burke, Birma Harrell, Jewel Solomon and Della Dale.
She is survived by: her sons, Mickey Pate of Valdosta and Thomas Pate (Shirley) of Moultrie; her grandchildren, Ana Gunsolus, Dixie Fay Woods, Waylon James Woods, James Thomas Woods, Brooklyn Lee Woods and Olate Lynn Pate; and her sister Lola Spell (Dwight) of Fitzgerald, Georgia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
