He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Peace and Ethel Holden Peace; and his brothers, George, Joel (Marilyn) and Willard.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Alligood; his children, Gail Peace (Kent Blevins) and Paul Jr. Peace (Mandy Coleman); his grandchildren, John Paul Foster, Justin Foster (Emily), Madison Schexnayder (JT) and Whitman Peace (Lia Delveccio); and his great grandchild Samuel Foster (Justin).
