She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lee Black and Loreane Jeanette Harper Black; her husband Ernest L. Boyd; and her brothers, Charlie Black, Dickie Black and Jackie Black.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Parten (Jason), Laura Peacock (Joey), Kim Kersey (Jimmy) and Ernest Boyd, Jr. (April). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother.
