It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Herman Kent of Norman Park, Georgia, born in Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Floyd Kent and Evelyn Helen Cannon Kent; and his brother William "Billy" Floyd Kent, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Melinda Faye Kent of Ivey, GA; his siblings, Darrell Kent of Moultrie, Jake Kent (Barbara) of Berlin, GA, Glenda Apperson (Ken) of Norman Park, GA, Brenda Chalkley (Jim) of Moultrie and Marilyn Kent of Norman Park, GA; his sister-in-law Sue Kent of Moultrie; and his grandchildren, James Tyler Cobb, Dillion Roberts (Jenni) and Kaitlyn Roberts. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
