He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Musselwhite Hines; and his brother-in-law Ronnie R. Davis. He is survived by: his son Zachary Hines (Cyrena) of Tifton; his sisters, Beverly Davis of Norman Park and Catherine Hines of Moultrie; his granddaughter Amelia Hines; his nieces, Jennifer Davis (Michael Stanaland) and Terri Davis; and his nephew Jeremy "Bubba" Davis.
