He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edgar Jones and Annie Rachel Lipsey Jones; and his son Scott Jones. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Jones (Sherley) of Coconut Creek, Jeremy Jones (Brandi Hyatt) of Boca Raton, Florida, Lisa (David Carr) and Becky (Dan Ferrel). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
