He is survived by: his wife Mary Susan Houston Tittle; his daughters, Carrie Loucile Tittle Hay (Sam) and Susan; his grandmother Tittle Turner (Fortson); and his grandchildren, Samuel Burney Hay IV, Kathryn Allred Hay, Rebecca Henning Turner, William Wright Turner, Emma Loucile Lewis and Benjamin Darrell Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
