He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Wendell Griffin and Dorothy Phillips Griffin; and his brothers, Ricky Griffin and Timmy Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Griffin of Nashville; his children, Felicia Young of Lakeland, Tonya Fox (John) of Valdosta, Amy Walsworth of Nashville, David Rushing (Ann) of Reynolds and Erick Rushing (Mandy) of Nashville; and his sister Lisa Griffin Brannan of Nashville. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
