She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Cook and Rhoda Carver Cook; her husband Edmund Sayyah; and her sisters, Jessie Bell Gilliard, Jean Speckert, Clarice Hamilton, Angie Lyons and Donnie Wee Nelms.
She is survived by: her close friend Raleigh Bailey of Nashville; and her children, Tracie Sayyah of Grapevine, TX, Ron Sayyah (Nadeemi) of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Eddie Sayyah (Gloria) of Crystal Beach, TX and Jack Sayyah (Patricia) of League City, TX. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, a great grandchild and a great great grandchild.
