He was predeceased by: his father Joel Stanton Rooks; his wife Patsey Mae Bonds "Pat" Rooks; and his father-in-law Johnny Bonds. He is survived by: his mother Katherine Mixon Turner of Nashville; his daughter Connie Rooks Webb of Nashville; and his siblings, Joel Rooks (Brenda), Sherlyn Barnett (Ken) of South Carolina and Debbie Mathis of Nashville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
