He was predeceased by: his parents, Fonder Dewitt Jones and June Buttrick Jones; and his sisters, Patricia Sirmans, Fonda Melton and Brenda Fogarty.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Dusty Sirmans (Jennifer) of Valdosta, Tonya Weldon of Moultrie, John Melton of Valdosta, Bob Melton of Moultrie, Robin Monk-Kresin of Valdosta, Wendy Culpepper of Valdosta and Debra Williams of Valdota.
