He was predeceased by: his parent Tallie Hancock. He is survived by: his mother Melba Godwin Hancock of West Berrien; his wife Lola Bennett Hancock of West Berrien; his sons, John Hancock (Courtney) of West Berrien and Bobby Hancock (Brooke) of West Berrien; his sister Brenda Atwell (Shane) of West Berrien; and his grandsons, Brady Hancock and Bennett Hancock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
