He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Vaughn and Opal Hill Vaughn; his wife Barbara Ann Wilson Vaughn; his stepson Clark Wilson; and his siblings, Eugene Vaughn, Ronnie Vaughn and Patricia Highsmith.
He is survived by: his son Ricky; his daughters-in-law, Vonda Vaughn of Waynesville and Ann Wilson of Nahunta; his grandchildren, Sean Vaughn (DeAnna) of Waycross, Mandy Vaughn of Darien, Gracie Gore of Haxlehurst and Sheena Wilson (Robert) of Nahunta; and his sister Terry Patterson of Waycross. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
