He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Columbus Gilbert and Cora Lou Keith Bryant. He is survived by: his daughters, Sonia Moore and Dawn (Chris Hickox); his grandchildren, Katie (David Lee), Taylor Hickox, Branson Hickox, Braydon Hickox and Lucas Moore; his great grandchildren, Sophia Lee and A. J. Lee; his close friend Deborah Hook of Nahunta; the mother of his children Kathy Gilbert of Nahunta; and his brothers, Jeff Gilbert, Larry Gilbert, Chris Gilbert and Travis Gilbert.
