It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Davis Hendrix of Nahunta, Georgia, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee L. Davis and Elizabeth Carlisle Pittman; her grandson Seth Proctor; and her siblings, Brenda Holcombe and Steve Dykes.
She is survived by: her children, Possum Corbitt (Eileen) of Hortense and Ann Sauls (Randy) of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Ali Wilson (Reed) of Nahunta, Hunter Corbitt of Macon, Christian Proctor of Brunswick, Ryhan Proctor and Aiden Hurles of Blackshear; her great grandchildren, Grey Wilson, Paxton Proctor and Nevaeh Proctor; and her siblings, Hank Davis (Joni) of Hortense, David Davis of Hazelhurst, Walt Dykes (Tina) of Hortense, Roger Dykes (Serena) of Brunswick, Cary Dykes of Hortense, Joey Dykes of Hortense and Sharon Smith of Alabama.
Vickie was a homemaker and attended Church at The Foundation.
