She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilfred Bearden and Burnice Cooper Bearden; her husband Virgil Douglas; her son Lonnie Douglas; her sister Linda Waldrep; her daughters, Tanya (Colin Causey) and Laura Cooper of Alabama; her children-in-law, Josh King of Alabama, Lonnie Douglas (Paige) of Lyons, Shawn Douglas (Becca) of Raybon, Leah Carroll (Garrett) of Hickox, Margaret Middleton (Eddie) of Raybon and Shane Douglas (Kaycee) of Waycross; her great grandchildren, Joe Bearden and Walter Bearden; her sister Pat Gearhard; her daughter-in-law Tammy Douglas of Nahunta; and her close friend Sarah Cason. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A visitation will be at the grave 30 minutes prior, starting at 10:30 A. M. Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service.
