It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Thornton of Nahunta, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kennedy, Sr. and Sarah Gladys Hendrix Kennedy. She is survived by: her daughters, Freedom Thornton of Nahunta and Robyn Thornton of Hickox; her grandson Noah Thornton of Hickox; and her siblings, Betsy Kennedy Purcell of Nahunta and Harold "Buddy" Kennedy, Jr. (Patsy) of Columbia, TN. She is also survived by her daughters, her grandson and other family member.
