He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Guy Somerindyke and Marjorie Livingston Somerindyke; his wife Evelyn Christine "Chris" Tyler Somerindyke; his granddaughter Allison McCardle; and his sister Betsy Blanton.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Somerindyke of Atlanta, John Somerindyke of Norman Park, Kelvin M. Chitty of Moultrie and Karen McCardle of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Michael Chitty (Maria), Ashley Walden (Chad), Parker Somerindyke and Angela McCardle; and his brother-in-law Wayne Blanton of Baton Rouge, LA.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
