He was predeceased by: his parents, C. O. Smith, Jr. and Jeanette Early Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Johnson Smith of Moultrie; his son Ethan Smith (Debbie) of San Francisco, CA; his grandsons, Lawson Smith, Julian Smith and Roman Smith; and his brothers, Charlie Smith (Daniela) of New York, NY, Markham Smith (Ellen) of Atlanta, GA and Andy Smith (Cina) of Mountain Rest, SC. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews and other family members.
