He is survived by: his children, Neal Newsome (Angie) of Moultrie, John Roger Newsome, III of Tallahassee and Nancy Newsome Morris (Jason) of Hartsfield; his grandchildren, Trey Newsome (Shayna), Cameron Newsome, Loughlin Shaul (Levi), Aidan Newsome, Daly Newsome, Moira Newsome, Elspeth Newsome, Finn Newsome, Jolie Harden, Lanie McCoy, Bendie McCoy, Kolby Morris, Logan Morris and Ansleigh Morris; his great grandchildren, Adelie Newsome and Lincoln Shaul; his sister Blanche Land (Ron) of Jacksonville, FL.; and his pet Sam.
