He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dan and Lula Mae Blanchard; and his son Chris Blanchard. He is survived by: his wife Helen Vick Blanchard; his children, Amy Blanchard and Jim Blanchard (Debbie); his grandson Mark Blanchard (Diane); his daughter-in-law Beth Blanchard; his grandsons, Tyler Blanchard (Cree) and Colby Blanchard (Megan); his great grandchildren, Brooks and Banks; and his close friend Loriann Canfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moultrie United Methodist Church (409 First Street SE, Moultrie GA 31768) or the Moultrie-Colquitt County Humane Society (1412 First Street NE, Moultrie GA 31768).
