With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace Blackburn Weldon of Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on November 9, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee Blackburn, Sr. and Dovie Giles Blackburn; her husband Talmadge Weldon; her sons, James Weldon and Randel Weldon; and her brother Melvin Blackburn (Buddy).
She is survived by: her grandsons, Chris Summerlin and Tim Ricks; her nephews, Jimmie Walker and Ricky Blackburn; her great-nephew Jessie Cox; her grandchildren, Randy Weldon (Lynn) of Moultrie, Michael Horne of Atlanta, Kelli Horne Summerlin (Chris) of Doerun, Kim Ricks (Tim) of Moultrie and Michael Thompson (Courtney) of Moultrie; her great grandchildren, Kate, Carter Summerlin of Doerun, Nyla of Moultrie, Nolie Thompson of Moultrie, Bay of Moultrie, Bowen Ricks of Moultrie and Alex Weldon of Moultrie; and her siblings, John Lee Blackburn, Jr. (Louise), Geneva Perkins (Robert) of Moultrie and Carolyn Trammell of New Port Richey, FL.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.
