She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Lincoln Decker and Fannie Byrd Decker; her husband Gus Peter Statiras; her sons, Perry Statiras and Glen Statiras; and her granddaughter Michelle Statiras.

She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Linda Kay Daniel of Athens and Meghan Kay of Dallas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
