She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hayes Phillips and Parmella Elena Little Phillips; her children, Louise Willis and Ted Dillow; and her siblings, Lester Phillips, Chester Phillips, Hubert Phillips, Melvin Phillips, Clifford Phillips, Clyde Phillips, Elbert Phillips and Florence Stanfill.
She is survived by: her spouse W. Vaster Lawson; her daughters, Elena Dillard and Chezell Crosby Vinson; her grandchildren, Michael Dampier, Maggie Willis Plymale, Glenda Miller, Roy Willis and Jacqueline Willis (Jackie); her great grandchildren, Kyle Brady, Dale Brady, Aubree Plymale and Parker Plymale; and her great great grandchildren, Stacey Brady, Lem Brady, Denver Brady and Delaney Brady. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
