She was predeceased by: her parents, David Monroe Farmer and Fannie Mae Mathews Farmer; her husband Julian Robert McCorkle, Sr.; her son Julian Robert "Bobby" McCorkle, Jr.; and her siblings, Marvin Farmer, D. M. Farmer, Mae Powell and Minnie Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Diane M. Bridges of Moultrie, Gail M. Smith (Doyle) of Moultrie, Ken McCorkle of San Antonio and Linda M. Hayes (Lee) of Thomasville; and her brother Walter Frank Farmer of Fernandina, Fla. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
